As part of my graduate examinations at Princeton, I elected to create two upper-level course syllabi: one for a course on criminological theory and one for a course on poverty and welfare. While these syllabi are ambitious for an undergraduate course, my hope is that they will be useful both for students interested in learning more about the topics covered and for academics planning courses of their own. Both are for 12-week courses and include extensive lists of readings and a weekly summary and justification of the included topics.
